Visits & New Patients.
If your question isn’t answered here, our front desk team is happy to help.
- Are you accepting new patients?
- Yes. New patients can request an appointment online or call the office, and we will find a time that works for you.
- Do you see children?
- Yes. We care for patients of all ages, from young children to grandparents, so the whole family can be seen in one office.
- What happens at my first visit?
- Your exam includes a check for cavities, gum disease, TMJ problems and other oral health issues, an oral cancer screening and a check of your bite. If we spot any problems, we discuss treatment options with you right away.
- I get nervous at the dentist. Can you help?
- Yes. Patients can relax with comforting blankets, cozy pillows and headphones, and sedation dentistry is available.
- Can you help with a dental emergency?
- Yes. Emergency care is available. Call the office as early as you can.

Insurance & Cost.
- Do you take insurance?
- We accept dental insurance and help you make the most of your benefits.
- Do you offer financing?
- Yes. Financing is available through in-house plans, Cherry, Proceed Finance, LendingClub and HFD.
- What if I don’t have insurance?
- Our in-house membership plan covers exams and cleanings and gives you discounts on other treatments. New patient specials are also available.

Treatment.
- Is there a specialist in the practice?
- Dr. Hazem Saqqal, a periodontist, treats patients here. Gum care and implant support are handled in the same office, without an outside referral.
- Is Dr. Karbasi an Invisalign provider?
- Yes. Dr. Karbasi is a Gold Invisalign Provider and offers clear aligner treatment for adults and teens.
- How do I find out if implants are right for me?
- Schedule a free dental implant consultation. We’ll evaluate your smile, explain your options and create a personalized plan.

- Do you offer early or evening appointments?
- Yes. Our hours are Mon – Tue: 7AM – 7PM / Thu: 7AM – 7PM / Fri: 8AM – 4PM, so you can come in before work, after school or at the end of the day.

- We see patients from Reston and nearby communities, including Vienna, Herndon, Oakton, Chantilly, Tysons, McLean, Great Falls and Centreville.

Technology & Comfort.
Modern equipment helps us plan care precisely and keep visits comfortable.
- What technology do you use?
- We use digital scanning, digital X-rays, lasers and 3-D printing for comfortable and precise results.
- Do I have to bite into impression trays?
- In most cases, no. Our iTero digital scanner captures a 3D model of your teeth, which we use to plan crowns and clear aligners and show you what we see.
- Is sedation available?
- Yes. Sedation dentistry is available for patients who feel anxious or need longer treatment. We will talk through the options with you before your visit.
- What is it like during treatment?
- Patients can relax with soft pillows, warm blankets and headphones, and we explain each step before we begin.
